About Us
The Savvy Cyclist has evolved into Savvy Cycling, Fun, and Fitness, embracing a more inclusive mission of promoting overall wellness, not just through cycling but through active, healthy living.
While the original journey began with idea of sharing personal cycling experiences, the current focus is to inspire fitness in various forms.
This site is not designed for competitive tri-athletes, professional cyclists or Cat 1 racers. This is a site for the “every man” …the average middle-aged or maturing guy (or gal) who is looking to improve their health and well-being and perhaps recapture some of the joy in life that we felt in our youth.
In 2024, the site’s primary goal is promoting Oars of Hope, our new initiative that combines fitness and philanthropy. Our inaugural fundraising effort aims to raise awareness, engage the community, and make a meaningful impact through rowing challenges.
Our goal is to raise $50,000 for the Alzheimer’s Association by assembling a dedicated team of rowers who are willing to donate their efforts to this important cause.

Real People. Real Impact.
WCK’s work is guided by our belief that food is a universal human right. Both in the communities we serve and in our daily workspace, we uphold and rely on our values to direct us toward fulfilling our shared purpose.
Without peace, development gains do not hold. Without peace, delivering humanitarian aid risks further suffering. Without peace, people have more difficulty exercising agency, seizing opportunity, and realizing their full potential
